This website was born out of a personal desire to feel included in my local parishes as well as the global Church only to be met with several access barriers. As I’ve gotten to know more about what has contributed to the divide between the disability community and communities of faith I’ve become passionate about being part of the closing of the divide and building an inclusive community of faith, no matter a person’s disabilities or abilities. This space isn’t just meant for those who have a disability but rather anyone wanting to foster a more inclusive environment within their parish and/or faith community.
About Me I was baptized into the Catholic Church as an infant and diagnosed with a physical disability (Cerebral Palsy) shortly after my first birthday. I am a writer, speaker, and advocate for people with disabilities.
